The sports department held the annual spring sports banquet on June 6. The banquet began with all the teams together as the coaches and faculty gave speeches and top player awards, but then allowed the various teams to split and hold individual ceremonies.

“The spring banquet is about congratulating all athletes and everyone that works really hard,” senior and varsity softball player Madison Larsen said. “You can see that they recognize the admin and all the athletic directors and it shows just how much effort everyone put into the spring season and into Marshall.”

The coaches of each team also expressed their views on the progression of their appreciation for the players and their own coaching careers.

“I really love this team, I really love our seniors [and] I always felt like I had four straight years of absolute, complete buy-in on their part,” baseball coach Aaron Tarr said during his speech.
