What were you doing before you came to Marshall?

“Before I came to Marshall, I was an elementary art teacher. I taught at Wakefield Forest for a few years, and Lee’s Corner for another couple of years. In between those years, I took a year off and traveled all over the place. I went to Europe and I did a cross country road trip.”

What’s something no one here knows about you?

“Marshall students probably don’t know that I like to crochet. That’s one of my main things that I like to do, and I bake a ton of cookies. So, I make fancy decorated cookies.”

What’s one item on your bucket list?

“I want to go to all 50 states. I am at 48, and I just have to go to North Dakota and Alaska. I am hoping that I can go to Alaska this summer.”
