“At the start of tryouts I was put on JV, and then I worked really hard, was captain, and then I got invited to play in the varsity tournaments. I worked really hard there. They really saw the potential that I had and they invited me to come up for some games. Then they invited me permanently to varsity. It’s pretty awesome. I’m really happy and proud of myself.”

“I have been swimming for 10 years, and sometimes I don’t really want to go to practice, but I remember how fun winning your event and heat is, and I feel motivated to try. There is a 30 year old record I will be trying to break this summer for my summer club team. I’m committed to Union College in New York, and I am excited about what I can do for the [swim] team once we start winter!”
