Despite injuries and losing streak, volleyball excels in post season

Injuries have been plaguing the volleyball team through out the season.

“We have had a lot of injuries this season that has kept us from practicing and playing with a full squad,” varsity coach Chad Brizek said.

Players who were not able to play helped the team develop a strong determination.

“The girls preserverance has allowed us to grow and really improve throughout the season.” Brizek said.

I definitely think we’re gonna win this game, and that we’re all gonna do really really well because everybody is really excited tonight,” senior vasity Lucy Gardner said.

Despite sustaining injuries, the team is optimistic about the post season. The team won first round of conference tournament against Edison.

“Our district record is 2-2, we are aiming for the district banner,” said senior varsity Tanishka Amin.

While warming up for their senior night game aganist Wakefield, the girls expressed confidence.
